The Directors and the Secretary of the Kadirur Service Co-operative Bank have registered as delegates to the Indian Library Congress. President Sreejith Choyan, Secretary PM Hemalatha and Directors have handed over their delegate fees to Dr.V Sivadasan M P.
Kadirur Service Co-operative Bank has supported the People’s Mission for Social Development since its inception. The Bank has also been actively involved in the activities of the Indian Library Congress. The Bank president and others have participated in the workshop of local self-government representatives held ahead of the Indian Library Congress.
A football academy which will be inaugurated on November 7 is one of the latest initiatives of the Bank. A gymnasium for the youth, an ambulance system for the locals, a medical shop for dispensing medicines at low cost, a medical lab for tests and a library are being run. Dr V Sivadasan MP said that this a model which others should emulate.
Bank’s library is being used by students as well as people who are interested in learning. Mukundan Madathil commented that Kadirur Service Co-operative Bank is setting a unique model.
