The seminars in accordance with Indian Library Congress will begin on Friday. Dr. Sunil P Ilayidam will speak on the topic ‘Secularism and Life’, while inaugurating the program. Kannur University Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. A. Sabu will deliver the keynote address.
More than 1,500 seminars will be organized. Apart from 1,054 libraries in the district, the seminar will also be held in university departments, colleges and schools.
A hundred topics were selected for the seminars. The seminar is organized in collaboration with educational institutions, college union, NSS, literary society, clubs etc.
