Ahead of the Indian Library Congress, a workshop for the people who are working in the tourism sector, was organised to frame novel techniques for the development, promotion and expansion of the tourism industry of Kannur district on 4th November 2022.The tourism department could ensure the participation of the people who are working as part of the tourism department and the tourism activities. Indian Library Congress, offers a venue for introducing and promoting the tourism map of the district to the delegates, who are from different parts of the country.
The workshop was conducted at the Kannur University student amenities centre and was inaugurated by P.A. Muhammed Riyas, Minister for Public Works Department and Tourism and Dr V. Sivadasan MP presided over the programme. Kannur district collector S. Chandrasekhar IAS was the chief guest and the tourism deputy directors Mr Shine and Sooraj K.P. introduced the theme of the workshop.c
