The NSS volunteer in the Kannur district has decided to extend a helping hand towards the creation of empowering pulic spaces in Kannur district. At Kadannappally HSS, the fund collection drive was inaugurated by Dr.V.Sivadasan MP who spoke about the great contributions of NSS to social development . The Volunteers are to collect funds for assisting the construction Vinoda Vijnana Vikasana Kendram through various innovative methods like Scrap collection, Cake challenge and making and selling of hand sanitiser. Panchayat President T Sulaja chaired the event, which was dignified by the presence of personalities like Kannur Jilla Panchayat member T Thanpan, P.K Vijayan, T.V Vinod, Manoj Kumar Kanichukulangara , Sreedharan Kaithapram, P.P Damodaran, Manoj Kaiprath, Baby Manoharan, Haridasan Naduvalath, C.P Beena, K Santhosh Kumar (Principal) and M Ramani
The unit also collected books for the Network project which were handed over at the fuction.
