The logo of People’s Mission for Social Development was released by eminent writer T Padmanabhan at Kannur. He emphasized the need to better the living conditions of the Adivasis. There is a need for libraries and other developmental inititative among them, he said.
The logo was inspired by the ethnic art of Adiwasis and depicts human beings rejoicing and uniting hands of social development and equality. The logo was prepared by KK Shibin, a teacher at Chirakkara VHSE.
The esteem event were dignified by presence of eminent persons like Vice Chairman of Kerala Lalitakala academy Eby N Joseph, T.K Govindan Master, Mukundan Madathil (President, Kannur District Library Council), P.K Vijayan (Secretary, Kannur District Library Council), M.K Ramesh Kumar, T Prakasan and M.K Manoharan
